The Sol Cinema, created in the UK,  has trully changed the meaning of words small cinema ,with its capacity of only  8 adults,  it is actually the smallest cinema in the world!
This adorable small cinema is actually a non-profit project from the award winning charity Undercurrents. In its small space, settled inside of a trailer, the Sol Cinema can acommodate its visitors comfortably for a unique cinematic experience.

It has its own usherettes who welcome anyone coming to this mobile, solar-powered cinema. The Sol Cinema has a full library of comedy, quirky, music videos and short films with inspiring environment themes. It is an ideal solution for showing short videos within the community festival, event or party.

The inside of the Sol Cinema has been decorated with pride and style. They have kept the traditional colors, the red-yellow striped walls and also traditional services, so people can order popcorns and refreshing drinks. A LED projector is used showing short movies in cinematic surroundings.

Also this small cinema has lithium batteries and solar panels, which makes it a very eco-cinema,  powered entirely by the Sun. Their photovoltaic panels harness the sunlight, even as the films are being shown, so it never runs out of power. The energy  gathered over day is stored in lithium batteries so it has power even when the sun comes down or on rainy days.

The Sol Cinema  can even be rented, its offer includes cinema powered by renewable energy, staff and public liability insurance, solar panel display and a wide selection of short films. Being mobile, this cinema can travel anywhere in the UK, Ireland or Europe, or indeed the world.
